Kfar Saba with kids
Kfar Saba registers children for city gans and first grade online each winter, zoned by your registered address, and runs its own after-school programmes and daycare network. The large city park, the museum's family activities and the culture hall's children's shows fill weekends.

Register for gan every year
Registration for city gans (from age 3) runs online in January-February; for 2026-27 it was 19 January to 8 February 2026. Every child must be re-registered each year, and state gans are zoned by address.

Register for first grade
First-grade registration is online only and needs the address updated on both parents' ID cards; new residents use the 'register as resident' link during the registration window.

Book an after-school place
The municipal Nitzanim tzaharonim run in the primary schools until 17:00 with two classes a week and hot meals; 2026-27 registration has closed, with a waiting list open.

Find a daycare (ages 0-3)
The municipal Yaldut BaKfar network has five daycares (Ma'on 60, Ma'on 80, Rapaport, Sapir and Hadarim) and registers on a space-available basis.

Sign up for chugim
Municipal after-school classes and sports are booked through the city's online chugim system.

Spend a day in Kfar Saba Park
Free playgrounds, fountains, a JumpFun bouncing pillow and the Chai Park animal corner (closed Sundays; 10 NIS for residents).

Join the museum's family events
The Kfar Saba Museum runs children's workshops and family events at its gardens and at Beit Sapir, announced in a WhatsApp group.
