Kfar Saba's public kindergartens (gans) are run with the municipality, and the city's education map groups them by type and area. There are state (secular) gans in the city centre and older western neighbourhoods, in HaShchuna HaYeruka and HaZemer HaIvri, in the eastern neighbourhoods and in Savyonei HaKfar, plus state-religious (mamad) gans across the city and gans in the Chabad network. Registration for municipal gans goes through the city's Education Administration, which also places children who arrive mid-year.
